Treasures

I love this little treasure chest I made. It was once an accordian album I bought from Target. Now it gets to hold a bunch of memories. Its actually more for storage than anyhing. I have boxes of crap laying around from when we were dating. Corks, cards, playbills, casino chips, tickets, and other little things that I cant scrap because they are just too big (or I dont have pictures to go with them) Now I have everything in one place :)

I used the October Poppy Ink kit for this. I added a few flowers and buttons.




and yes that is painters tape. ;)

Travel Channel

The travel channel makes me want to travel so badly! They are doing this program on the largest of the Royal Carribbean ships....I was drooling. Ive been on one cruise... when I was 19 and it was the (RC) Soverign of the Seas. Ive been lusting for a cruise ever since. To make matters worse... then they took the ship to Aruba. I so so want to go back to Aruba. As they showed all the things to do and I realized I did almost all of them..... but Id still so back. It was amazing.

This is my mini book of fun things were did in Aruba. I made it out of coasters from Outback Steakhouse. I tried to highlight our adventures (at least the PG ones hehe) Now Im hooked on mini books for vacations! I have lots of picture of the insides in my 2peas gallery. I had a blast making this. I definately need to get more coasters.

I had the best day today!

It was awesome. My husband was still in bed when I work up so I could snuggle him (he works days, I work nights)

Then we went up to this fabulous Japanese hibatchi place for dinner. We were celebrating 5 birthdays in the fam. and there were 16 of us. I had the filet & shrimp, a little sushi and 2 orange creamcicle martinis. It was so so good!

Afterwards a bunch of us decided to go bowling! We just kept getting CHEAP pitchers of crappy beer (I hadnt had Natty since college) It was so much fun! My aunties were trash talking and my cousin and my baby sister were rocking the "reverse granny" and other interesting moves.

Good times :) I love hanging out with the fam.
